The consortium meeting of the Erasmus+ Sport project “FIND ME: University Dual Career Opportunities” was successfully held in Ljubljana, Slovenia, hosted by the Faculty of Sport, University of Ljubljana. This three-year European project aims to develop and implement an evidence-based digital platform dedicated to supporting dual career opportunities for student-athletes at the university level.
The primary objective of the FIND ME project is to structure a comprehensive European platform aligned with the recommendations of the EU Guidelines on Dual Careers of Athletes (European Commission, 2012). The platform is designed to provide universities, student-athletes, academic staff, and sports professionals with structured information, good practices, institutional models, and practical tools that facilitate the harmonisation of academic and athletic pathways.
During the meeting in Ljubljana, project partners reviewed the progress of ongoing work packages, discussed research findings, evaluated pilot activities, and defined the next implementation phases. Particular attention was dedicated to quality assurance mechanisms, dissemination strategies, and long-term sustainability of the platform.
The meeting further strengthened cooperation among partner institutions and reinforced the shared commitment to improving structural support systems for student-athletes across Europe.
